Welcome to Ash Meadows Guest House, providing quality en-suite B & B,  Bed and Breakfast in Kendal, Cumbria. For a comfortable stay or break in the "Auld Grey Town" of Kendal - look no further.

Philippa and Peter have carefully modernised this Victorian family home to give all the comfort of modern facilities without losing the character.

All rooms are en-suite with central heating, heated towel rails in the bathrooms, TV/DVD, Tea & Coffee making facilities, hairdryer etc. Free Wi Fi is available throughout the house.

We have off street parking.

Ash Meadows Guest House is situated in the North East corner of Kendal approx ten minutes walk from Kendal town centre where you can find the towns attractions from castles to The Brewery Arts Centre to The Quaker Tapestry and some excellent restaurants to suit all tastes.

The central Lake District is a twenty minute drive away, or if you prefer a more peaceful time Orton, the "booktown" of Sedbergh and its Howgill Fells are a similar drive away.

We welcome cyclists and walkers being keen on both pursuits ourselves, and Ash Meadows Guest House is on or close to several long distance cycle routes, “Lands End to John O’Groats” and “Walney to Wear” both pass close by. We also have drying room and secure cycle storage.

Ash Meadows Guest House and Kendal is 8 miles from J36 M6, 6 miles J37 M6. Kendal railway station is five minutes walk, we could collect you if required.
